question on ouput of 36 cells?

36 cells each producing .55v 3.6a, 1.8w does this sound correct
They get wired in series to produce 36x.55 for the vols I think I have my math crossed up?

yes, it's ok the math. If you put 36 x0.55 (in series) you will have a pv for 12 V(16 to 19V without loud),65W, 3.6A max- that requaries a 12v charge controler.

Not going to be working with a charge controler at least trying to stay away from it not using batteries is a good way to stop right.
I am in need of a 24v panel or array of pannels persay 2 pannels of 36 cells to those specs. I could produce 24v, 65w, 3.6a max to run an item that requires 24v 89w min, 2.4a

Voltage changes according sun's movement.
Without controller, will that item able to tolerate the voltage change?

Ok I want to know about a 48 cell pannel
44*.55 = 24.2
48*.55 = 26.4
Do I need to go higher to suport the large drain on start up of pump? or is that on the amps side of calculations?
The pump ranges from 12v to 24v I am unsure if this means it can handle any volts suply between those numbers ot if it can only handle 12v setup or 24v setup?

What about the amperes produced this is what needs to match or higher than the item being used right, and if the item requires a 4.1a max what does this mean? is it asking the limit of amperes or is it saying it will consume no more than amperes mentioned?

Just curious if this is a fair price and going to do the job it has good ratings
if so then will this controler work for presurizing the tanks to shut off pump when tanks are full?
