Anyone have experience buying solar components from Renvu.com?

Looking to order (40) of the SolarEdge P400 optimizers and (1) of the SolarEdge SE11400 inverter and Renvu.com is coming it at the cheapest, about 10% lower than the next place I looked at (RES Supply.com).

Does anyone have experience with them? Trustworthy merchant?

I'm thinking about ordering from them. Did you end up trying them out?

I did not, but a friend of mine recently ordered a SolarEdge inverter from them and had a good experience...it actually arrived faster than he was told it would.

I ordered 36 panels, 36 - p300 solaredge optimizers, 10kw solaredge inverter, and rails from them last Friday. Price on everything was cheaper than I found elsewhere. They do add 3% if you use a credit card. The solaredge stuff arrived yesterday and looks good. The rest is expected Friday or maybe Monday. So far they have seemed fine. I get the feeling they mostly deal with contractors but overall it has been a good experience so far. I'll updated once I get everything and finish the install.

I had great luck with them for ordering my entire 8.4kW system. Pricing was the best I found. Shipping for everything to the east coast was just under $500 which I thought was very reasonable.

Only issue I had was a dented rail that was caused but someone pushing the rail bundle with a forklift during shipment. When I contacted them for help, they immediately shipped out parts to fix even though it wasn't their fault.

I sent them a check to save the 3% cc surcharge. Not worth it for a few items, but for a whole system, it really adds up.

Yes great vendor, 100% recommend. I bought 24 Canadian Solar 255w panels, picked up at their Concord, CA warehouse to save shipping costs (I'm about 3 hours away). Just recently picked up a SMA 6000 inverter, Iron Ridge racking including connectors, and A/C and D/C disconnect boxes from their Sacramento warehouse (shipping for solar stuff is expensive). The best deals are in their periodic emails. You register on their website to see prices, then occasionally, get emails re specials. The panels were advertized at 81c/watt, then an email had a sale at 78c, so I ordered. 1 month later email special price dropped to 73c, oh well. On my inverter order, one of their emails had a sale price on the SMA 5000, so I asked for a similar deal on the 6000, they gave me an $80 price break on the already cheapest advertised price I could find on the www.

Might as well pile on here, a friend and I both bought everything for our installs from them (except my rails) and had no problems with anything, including returning parts for credit, getting last-minute stuff shipped quickly in order to get it by the weekend, etc.

                I agree.

I did have some slight hiccups - one box of optimizers had 7 grounding washers instead of 5. My guess is that the person putting together the order for me was breaking a box of 12 into a shipment for me and one for someone else. And they put the baggy with 7 washers into the box of 5 optimizers and the baggy with 5 washers into the box of 7 optimizers. Since it was a small part they had on hand I was able to get the two washers from them at their office right away. (They would have shipped the washers to me at no charge, but I needed to pick up a conduit flashing anyhow)

IMO they had good customer service which makes up for a little "oops" they had in their shipping dept.
