Your solar is doing good. Here is a system in Chino Hills 28 X CS 255W @7.14kW facing South 180 deg
Here is the link for Enphase public site. You can find few systems in your area as referrence.

I looked at some systems close to me, with similar specs...
This poor guy only made 8 Kwh's a day... over the last 3 days... from a 6KW system
Whats his payback date? 2075?
Ever??
Thanks for the link.... its a eyeopener to what can do right, or wrong, with solar.Comment

Hi there Alisobob! So I have the same Enlighten/Enphase monitoring system as you, (only up 4 plus days)
Am curious about your other Chart with the pos,neg kW production. What is it and what is it showing exactly? I'm always looking for new info! (1st 3 days of the New Year=30.7,26.6, 12.6 and today...yikes, I may get 2kW's...
Thanks, BillComment

under snow, to be cleared when it stops. But that's OK, need that snow on the ground
to reflect sun for those 100 KWH days in Feb. Bruce RoeComment

My power provider is SCE ( Southern California Edison) and this is a screen shot taken from their website, from my account.
Its published everyday, and shows my accounts activity for the last 24 hours.
It shows my house "Idling" from midnight to 6 am at about 1 Kwh per hour. Then at 7 am the solar starts to generate until 4pm. It important to understand that this isnt what I generated, this is what i over-generated. The house is consuming power all the time, and the graph only shows power that is returning to the grid. After 4pm, I am a straight consumer again. The goal is to slightly over produce, to build credits with SCE for cloudy days, or the upcoming summer months of A/C use. On this day, thats exactly what happened.
Check with your power provider to see if they offer something similar!!Comment

They are the Solarworld Monocrystaline, "Black" panels, hooked the the Enphase M215 micro inverters, all strung with 10ga. wiring, through the attic, in the shortest run possible directly to the breaker box.
My installer told me this is the most efficient package they offer, in both hardware, and installation method.
I just spent a hour looking at that Enphase web site for 20 to 30 panel , south facing installs.
I think my installer was right....Comment

conservation started when I noted the meter spinning around (at 300W) while every last
thing was off or not running. The 300 W "phantom" load turned out to be a hundred small
items, most powered by very inefficient "wall wart" supplies. It was reduced to 50W.

I have 2 refrigerators that have to run 24x7... and a ton of appliances and clock radios that have to as well.
I've added the ability to switch off most of the computer stuff, but I still need to find more stuff I can put to sleep, when I do.
Thanks Bruce...Comment
