I have been told by oneinstaller that he would recommend using Enphase M215 instead of M250 micro inverters to pair with SolarWorld 275W panels. The reason he provided is that Enphase M250 wouldn’t be the best match, considering the amount of shading present. According to him, there is a tradeoff between clipping and microinverter startup. With the M250, it would be looking for a higher voltage before outputting AC power, so if I use M250, I would be losing more production than would be gaining by avoiding potential clipping. The price difference beween M215 and M250 is 7 cents per watt installed. What do you all think? I am in SE New York. Thanks.
