Solar panels for tropical climate, humid weather

The city I plan to install my solar array is in a tropical climate, very humid, gets a lot of sunshine. It gets a lot of rainfall between the months of may and november. Average temperature is 28 degrees celcius.

Would I require certain special kind of solar panel? during he summer months there is a lot of sunshine but also a lot of rainfall, so would I have to keep the panels dry after it rains? would the wet humidity leak inside the panels an cause a short circuit?

thermal stress, due to heavy rain after heavy sun?

During the summer months it gets really hot and sunny during the noon time then pours heavy for about 4 hours then it stops.

Iam scared that the pouring rain on a solar panel that was sitting out in the sun might cause thermal stress.

Those panels will live, the only thing you have to do is do not let the water drown those panels. but they may not survive in typhoon or hurricane.

Most commercially made panels, will withstand rain, wind and some hail. They have a label on the panel, or in the sales paper as to the specifics. Out of an install of 20 panels, I would expect 1 might possibly go bad from a hidden defect, in the first 2 or 3 years, and it would be covered under warranty.
