  • Owners of Rooftop Solar panels at home from India

I have a rooftop solar power plant set up at my home. Its a 1kwh system from Tata power solar. But its just giving me an average of 2.2 units of electricity per day. Its too low than what I expect. I need to know how much you guys are getting at your home with similar power plants. Do contribute as I find only few Indias here and I couldn't find a solar forum anywhere else.

    Thanks
    Jithin.

      While you are answering that:
What is angle and orientation of the array?
      What kind of panels?

        Apparently they are the Tata's
Methinks they are not living up to their name
        Perhaps they can be saved

1 unit = 1 kWh in Indian slang.

Hello, the smart grid solar systems gives uninterrupted power supply. Is it on-grid or off-grid.

This poor fellow had to make a totally incorrect statement in order to get a link in!

Its an off grid system. And I'm from southern state of India, from Kerala. Here we get almost 6 hours of good sunlight everyday. But still my solar panels are not providing me enough electricity round the clock.
