Sunpower monitoring vs Upgrade version

Dealer/ Installer said there is an upcharge for a upgraded version of Sunpower Monitoring Kit. I have the contract and it has sunpower monitoring kit. Is there such a thing. I wanted to have access to what I produce vs what I use .. ? Any input greatly appreciated? or screen shots even better

I only have the production monitor so I assume the upgrade is to monitor what you use as well. That would be nice to have depending on cost. Here's what I get:

There's also a monthly display and yearly display. You can also download the data in a csv file. Sunpower has an android app and one for the iphone. Here's more info.

Dealer / Installer did the right thing and throwing in the bells and whistles on the monitoring. Said the one has a better system and no upcharge , SCORE !

For me too, it wasn't mentioned during our original negotiations. I found out about it later and they installed it for me as part of the original deal as well. They told me it was worth $500. It's basically just a WattNode consumption meter which you can buy for $300 - $350 and install on your own. Our SunPower installer has been really awesome. As most do I imagine they offer generous referral bonuses, gift cards, etc.. I believe now they factor in the full monitoring (production & consumption) into their original price quotes and install both monitors for every customer, as it should be.
