NR - panel on slope or roof top?

needs some feedback here, should I install my solar system on a slope (SW facing) at the back yard or on roof top? so far my considerations -

cheaper installation on a slope (sloped at 20 degree). I've a concrete tile roof - heard that'd be even more expensive to install solar panel on roof top
longer wire - needs about 100 ft of cables from the slope to main box - root top only needs about 30 ft
more sun/energy generated on root-top, but I think I'm going with micro inverter for expendable and shade torralent, if $ justify it. I'm also affraid having someone drill couple dozen hold through my concrete tile roof.

I'm looking for about 10 panel system (total ~ 2.4kw). how much should I look for a ball park number ? I've heard majority of labor is the roof work. I was able to find a suppiler in LA for about 0.7 cents / watt panel.

I'm leaning toward slope, but would like to hear from the pro if I missed any consideration,

    and this is san diego

Can you change the pitch of the panels if you install on a slope? That would be ideal to maximize output throughout the year.

There are two generally favored ways to install solar on a tile roof:

      1. Remove several tiles in the area of each attachment point and insert a specially designed zig-zag fitting that screws into the roof and winds its way past the re-installed
tiles to where it supports the panel.
      2. Since the area under the panels will not be visible, remove the tiles from that portion of the, replace with composition roofing of some sort and then place non-functional tiles around the edges of the panels for visual effect.

The more fragile the roof tiles, the harder it is to do either without damaging the surrounding roof in the process.

You could also get the special tiles made for a vent pipe - practical or not I don't know as I haven't tried it
