Need info about Harbor Freight panels.

New to solar and have read nothing good about Harbor Freight equipment here. I have used a lot of their things, they are low priced but when you compare the price to the quality, in my openion Harbor Freight is a bargain, i have been using thier 3500 watt generator for four years, it works just like a Honda at 1/7th the price. Has anyone tried to repair the burned control boxes that come with the 45 watt kit? I would like to use three kits using the included control boxes, they have lots of out puts for three to 12 volts. I am on thr grid when it is up here. Not reliable! Thanks in advance, Dennis

It's not worth repairing the Horrible Freight parts. Consider them consumable. When you need a charge controller, get a reliable one from Morningstar or Trace/Xantrex.
