I have a 5th wheel trailer,I'm trying to go off grid with this but my snag is.i have a 120v transformer feeding power to caravan.my inverter is a 4000w/8000w pure sine wave.having the transformer on this will it effect either the inverter or transformer

Inverters often have a hard time when first connected to a transformer and they can overload until the core of the transformer gets magnetized. What is the transformer rated for ?
