It is certainly worth it. If I had to choose between the program and being able to change Backup Reserve, I'd stick with the program as long as the incentive remains. I have a workaround that I can activate to keep the battery at 100% if a storm is threatening so I'm covered for what matters most.

A quick update: last week ConnectedSolutions forwarded my question to SolarEdge Tech Support who made a service ticket on 3/21. This morning I noticed my battery had drained down to the new backup reserve setting at 35% overnight. SolarEdge must have figured it out. Let's hope I don't need SolarEdge tech support every time I want to change backup reserve...Comment
