    help calculate this

    if i a have this ....... and it work 24/7 Power Consumption: 1293W + 10% (at the wall, with APW3, 93% efficiency, 25C ambient temp)


    and im in egypt 1 kw solar plans proudct about 1600 kw per year


    how much do i need ( kw solar )

    to make this work 24/7

    For those who would prefer not to follow the link, the load is a Bitcoin mining machine (a very powerful optimized computing engine for calculating Bitcoin hashes.)
    It will run at essentially constant power churning out digital money, so keeping the operating costs down is critical to making it pay.

      Unless you are willing to run your miner only during peak sun hours, it is not clear that solar PV will do you any good.
      If you try to put together a system using batteries to run 24/7, your cost per kWh will be more than US$.50/kWh and so you will likely be better off using commercial power.
      If your power cost is high and you have some sort of framework for using a grid tied inverter without batteries, then you might be able to get a decent return on your investment.

        Panel wattage = 12,000
        Controller ==3 x 80 Amp Mppt Controllers
        Battery = 48 volts @ 3125 AH, weighs 9000 pounds and cost $36,000 every 5 years to replace.

        Never going to happen.
