Xantrex GT 4.0 Grid-Tie 4000-watt Inverter

I have a Xantrex GT 4.0 Grid-Tie 4000-watt Inverter. I'm not sure if I can simply plug it in to the electrical wall outlet or do I have to connect it to the main power meter outside the house. Here is the manual, but I just can't figure it out. http://www.wholesalesolar.com/pdf.fo...exGTmanual.pdf

I found the answer. It needs to be connected to the main utility panel.

For future reference. Even though you can purchase them on eBay and such, there isn't any inverter that is allowed by US National Electric Code that can just plugged into a wall outlet. There is too great a chance of an electrical fire. The only accepted inverters are the ones that are connected to the main utility panel.
