I just bought a 24volt 2000 watt inverter from Victron Energy.
The default setting is that once the battery power goes lower than 19 volts it switches off.
The problem is that it does not switch on again when the power gets higher again.
It goes into a "lock"
I have already had to throw away food in my freezer.
After throwing away the food in my freezer I discover that I have to configure it using a special cable called an mk2 USB.
I have sent away for one and today it arrived.
It just will not connect to the inverter so I am locked out.
I have the correct drivers and have followed the instructions.
I have contacted Victron but the problem is that they don't speak English very well.
He does seem to be saying that I can do something with the jumpers.
VICTRON: If you want to avoid going into lock the aux relay can be connected to the manual off/on jumper
ME: How do I connect the aux relay to the manual off/on jumper ?
VICTRON: The NC connection of the vs to the jumper of the remote connection
end...
What is an NC ???
Does anyone here have any experience with Victron Inverters?
I wish the default factory setting was an actually usable configuration.
I am starting to regret buying this make.
