Mixing different solar panels in the same array

Due to the nature of the roof and the urge of the customer to create the maximum output from the array , I am considering mixing pv panel types . There are a number of obstacles and shading issues and have found by using 250w Hybrid Photovoltaic panels with 220w mono crystalline I will maximise yield .

Can anyone think of any potential problems in doing this ?

Different panel strings, will require a MPPT controller for each string. You can only parallel identical strings, with identical solar exposure.

This is where microinverters really shine. Each panel has it's own inverter so interactions between panels due to shade and direction are minimized or even eliminated.

Thanks guys - I had assumed I would put on to 2 strings , one for each panel type using a invertor with dual input , I had not thought of micro invertors
