What does this icon in my charge controller mean?

Hello, I have this cheap and popular PWM charge controller:

and I wonder what does the black arrow in the right side of the central screen means? I know the left arrow means that the battery is getting energy from the solar panel but the right arrow is there even when there is no load turned on that could draw energy FROM the battery (the loads are connected directly to the battery, not to the charge controller). the manual is useless as any chinese manual.

Does anybody know what that arrow mean? thanks in advance.

Your load function may be activated.. try getting into the menu and seeing if one of the load functions is set. I don't recall if the arrow icons are animated on these controllers. Some controllers will have the arrows blinking when solar power is coming in. Never used the load functions but the arrow pointing to the load icon may blink when the load is actually drawing power.

thanks littleharbor, I forgot to mention that the load function is enabled when the right arrow is blinking and I disabled it with the press of the third button, I tought the arrow would go off but only stopped blinking. I'm plannig to do this test next sunday: with the battery being charged by the solar panel I will remove the cables that go from the battery to the load and see if the right arrow goes away, if that happens it means that I'm losing power somewhere in my circuit (I guess).

      thanks again mate.
