Using Midnite Solar Classic 250 Controller / Regulator

Hey need some honest feedback about using the Midnite Solar Classic 250. We are selling these on ebay as we acquired them from a bankrupt dealer. They retail for $1000 and we are selling for $380. Just wanted to know how good they are and what experience you have using them? Oh and our username on ebay is Interstateblue. We have both the full version and one called a buck with less features for $290.

Classic is good. not sure about the version called Buck. They have a model called Kid and another called Brat

The buck version that we sell for $280...here's what they say about it. - The CP model does NOT include Follow Me jacks, Arc Fault detecting feature, Ethernet interface, or AUX ports (so the MNWBJR is not supported).

Without the ethernet interface, you are hosed and have to manually reprogram the controller with push buttons and menu screens (pure torture for me)

Still, for the price this is a good deal. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the smaller output of the 250 model. OTOH you can run up to 298 max VOC into it. This controller would be a good choice for someone who has to place the array up to hundreds of feet away from the controller/batteries/inverter due to the ability to run high voltage/low current in small gauge, inexpensive wire. The most practical system voltage would be a minimum of 48 volt nominal.
