Parrallel or series wiring

I am introducing my home to DC. I will put several 320 w panel together. No net meter, no batteries, hooked straight to home meter after inverter, disconnects, etc. What is the best wiring configuration: parallel, series or a combination of the two?

If you are in the US, you will need a permit, and likely an interconnect agreement.

The wiring will depend on the inverter you are using and specifications of the PV modules and to some degree the local weather.
Most grid tie inverters are high voltage so some form of series is required to get the voltage in range.
