Cost is about the same, what are the differences? I am getting the SE7600H-US with the P400 for 24 325 Panasonic panels. Any benefits going SE7600A-US?
The SE7600H-US replaced the A version. It is higher efficiency, should have higher reliability due the elimination of electrolytic capacitors, Can be used with an DC/AC ratio of 1.55 (verses 1.35), weighs much less is smaller, and you can run 6000W of DC per string verses 5250W
I would no longer use any A versions where the H versions have been released. We have currently installed over 100 H inverters without issues. One other other point the H versions mounting bracket is much easier to hang the inverter on.
I switched out a SE7600A-US for SE7600H-US and am glad I did. Before I never saw max inverter output even though I had 9kw in panels but now I regularly see flat spots on my output graph at 7.6kw showing that I am clipping. Same panels but lower output on my old A. Can't explain it but I am happy with the difference.
That is the first time I have seen someone happy about clipping but it makes sense and does illustrate the higher efficiency of that model. The efficiency results in faster ramp up in the morning and longer time at pek output which is why overall output is greater.
