Command line access to a Sunny Boy 6.0/5.0?

Just bite the bullet, and went solar, so far super happy, but I have one question about the inverters. I have two Sunny Boy units, a 5.0 and 6.0, and I want to access the units directly to copy the data to a Linux box for some data analysis. I can hit the internal web sites for both units, and the sunny portal, but that is really not effective for programmaticaly accessing them once a day to retrieve the data. Has anyone figured out how to telnet, or SSH to these units, or are they too locked down?

    Thanks,

Seems there is a way to get the info, but not via ssh or telnet, you have to use more specialized tools.
Searching around a bit, I found an old related post:

    solarpaneltalk.com/forum/solar-panels-for-home/solar-panels-for-your-home/16201-best-way-to-monitor-sma-sunnyboy-inverters

and a related web page that tries to give an overview:

    Good luck!
