First, it's going to be hard to find bulk, unpackaged solar cells for sale to a consumer. There's just not a market for them, since it's cheaper to buy already-built modules than rolling your own, and the quality will be higher too.

Second, there's not many solar cells being manufactured in the USA anyway. Most US manufacturers of solar panels buy the cells from overseas and assemble them into modules here.

So it's unlikely you'll be able to find what you're looking for.

Contact Fred from Hi Tech Solar. He sells on Ebay as fred480v. He's got great deals on panels and sells parts to make your own. I bought panels from him twice and they were the best deal around.
