    Imeon 3.6 Smart Inverter ?????

    Hi Guys

I am looking at this smart inverter i would like to get some honest opinion on it has anyone heard of them before etc

what size battery bank can i hook up to this thing and what would the best aH rating be , i know it would be a 48VDC bank and probably 6v cells i guess

also the panels i was looking at are ReneSola : Virtus II 300W : Solar Panels, 10 of these should give me close to the 3000w the inverter can handle correct??

in South Africa we expect around 5.6 hours of good sun per day

I am planning on running this mostly in off grid mode with the option of also using the grid if needed

any advise or help will be very much appreciated IE dont be shy to tell me im talking hogwash

    Cheers

    Warren

              Hi Warren,

We are a solar company in Port Elizabeth and install many standalone and grid-tied systems using various inverters like SMA, Microcare etc. We have installed 5 Imeon`s this year with great results.
I would highly recommend the Imeon as a great hybrid inverter. I can give you a list of our happy customers if you wish.
