Where to buy solar warning labels?

Got my permit approved today ; all parts are in but the warning labels. Per permit guy's direction I had to add a label in my permit where a small layout with of my house and my PV system is on it (stick it on the Main panel). That's custom. Also the permit guy wanted engraved plastic Solar Warning labels

I see one manufacturer selling their kit for $52 online; The price seems steep, and I cannot get my house / PV system layout printed, nor does it look like engraved plastic warning.

Is there a better place where I can buy my solar warning stickers? Where can I get my small CAD drawing of my house / PV system printed on the label?

Does anybody know what kind of printing equipment could make my own labels, and how much would the equipment cost?

I found one source by googling "Power Sources Engraved Map". I bought vinyl stickers from them, so can't say how they are for engraved plastics.

You can probably find other sources for engraved plastic as well. I would check with a local print shop or local trophy place if they do engraved plastics.

I have made up a lot of durable labels, 2 color, lettering only, by on line customizing a
$3 bumper sticker (3" X 10"). Cut up and stick on; not engraved, no graphics. Bruce Roe

I think if the permit dept. says engraved you need to do engraved. But doesn't hurt to double check with them to see if you can do vinyl stickers.

The custom one I will print myself on the vinyl and laminate it. Hopefully the inspector signs off.

NEC Labels

altE Store sells the labels online. The custom one is generally filled in with a sharpie and then covered with a clear laminate label. Most AHJs accept them. If yours requires an engraved one, go to a local trophy shop and have one made. http://www.solarreviews.com/solar-di...rs/alte-store/

Hi,
I just got my System approved, and here (City of Long Beach, CA) they don't sign off Labels anymore.
They want engraved Plaques on the Equipment.
The Inspector told me that Labels fade out in the Sun too fast and become unreadable.
This, of course, applies only to Long Beach, California.
Makes kind of sense, though.
