    Help with inverter? Not active?

    Hello,
Our house came with solar panels and a "SMA Sunny Boy" inverter. I have been living here for two years and the amount of energy produced has not risen. No lights are on, on the inverter which in the manual its says is due to "night time deactivation" even though it is mid-day and receiving full strength sunlight. If it helps the Main AC isolator says ON and the DC says OFF.
    Thanks

    1. You need to turn the DC switch ON, wherever it might be.
    2. Possibly there are blown fuses, open circuit breakers or broken wiring between the panels and the inverter.
    3. If you are not already very familiar with electrical work, get some help because high voltage DC is not a safe thing to learn on.
