    Solaredge issues

I am having some trouble with a Solaredge SE6000 with optimizers on all the panels. When there is shade issues, the optimizers are supposed output 1V per panel. I have two strings of 10 and 18 panels. The inverter keeps saying "night mode" but I have checked all the connections to the panels and all is good but I cannot either get the inverter to communicate with the optimizers or recognize that everything is hooked up.

Any thoughts or experience with this inverter. I'm thinking to just go back to the usual suspects (SMA, Fronius, PowerOne etc)

Is this a brand new installation or have you had this running successfully before ? There was a daughter board problem that caused it (once in 2 years for me) to stay in night mode during the day. They replaced that and I have not had any issues.

I did not do my own install so can't help on any procedures to follow to get them to communicate the first time using the setup menu on the inverter to talk to the optimizers. I would not give up yet.. I have been perfectly happy with my solaredge stuff.. and their portal is pretty good as well .. That along with pvoutput.org that I use with my TED5000 pushing data, is a complete production/consumption story that I can track from anywhere thanks to some port forwarding on my router and a DYNDNS address.
