    how far from roof edge can I place solar panels on flat roof

    I am installing solar panels on a flat roof using a ballast mounted system and want to maximize existing roof space for solar panels. How close can I put the panels to the roof's edge? Are there codes regarding this?

      Yes there are
      Each racking manufacturer will specify that is required based on building height, terrain, importance, wind zone, design wind speed, installed pitch of collectors etc.
