    East Orientation of panels

    Is this a bad idea?,

I have 10 spare panels from a palet purchased for a quantity price break, I have spare roof space on the main house near the main junction boxes and was wondering if having panels facing 80 degrees east would be worth the effort. The roof slope is quite low (15 degrees) . I could build a ground mount structure, but a lot more work and a lot of trees would need to be removed.
I plan to use micro inverters as well
Should I skip this as a bad idea or do it and accept the loss in output? accoring th pv watts site 10 panels at 250w still provides a reasonable power level

Look at it from a cost/benefit approach.
You have the panels so no cost there.
look at what the cost to do a ground mount vs the roof mount facing NE.
Will the added cost of the ground mount produce enough additional energy to justify it's cost. (don't forget the tree removal part)
