How do you enter new SN#s when replacing optimizers that have gone dead?

Two SolarEdge optimizers have gone dead on my 8 year old rooftop solar. SolarEdge has sent me the replacements still under warranty. I know how to do the replacement. My question is, how do I enter the new serial #s for the replacement optimizers?
The SE Set App won't let me use it as a "Self installer". My original installer didn't include me to be qualified as a "self installer" at installation time. He's out of business now and SolarEdge says they can't assist me.
Any ideas how to get those SNs into my inverter?
Also, If I'm not able to enter the new SNs after installing the optimizers, will the inverter still let the power being generated by the associated solar panel through to the grid or will that somehow be blocked?

Hook them up and verify you see 1 volt from them, then reconnect the string and see what happens.

Installed the 2 new optimizers this morning. All 16 paired successfully. 16/16 panels OK and 16 optimizers show OK status on my inverter LCD screen. Power is proportionally higher today than yesterday, with the same weather conditions and it is all reaching my local utility's meter.
However, since I'm not able to update the optimizers' new serial numbers, the panels still show as dead on my SolarEdge monitoring app. Those 2 won't be able to get monitored accurately now.
Any way to update the serial numbers without an installer doing it?

Good to hear they are working. As too how to update the serial numbers can't help you there.
