    Solar Panels Versus Hurricanes.

I see some videos on YouTube about Solar Panels actually protecting tile roofs from hurricanes, they also state some bizarre claims like being able to withstand impacts from 260 MPH flying objects like branches. Anyway I cannot trust most of those videos because they are done by Solar Companies.
I see New's videos from Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria and in one of them the solar fields are shown as being flattened which is no surprise.

Anyone here go to Puerto Rico after the hurricanes and see anything that would suggest its better to leave panels up on a roof rather than take them down?
My thinking has been that if it's over a CAT 2 it's better to get them off if possible and store them away so that you can have power after the storm passes.
