I am ajit Here. I would like to know is there any free software available to draw standard solar single line diagram. Please let me know which tool i can used to draw SLD diagram for solar power system. Representation of diagram should be easily understand to all.

I used Visio. (Not free, but already had it for cheap)

You could probably do it with Google's Sketchup, which is free.
Or you could go old-school with pencil & paper.
