Roof tiles removed??

Hi everyone! I just had my panels installed yesterday. I have a two story home so I can't see my panels but I noticed that the installers left 2 roof tiles near our garage - which makes me believe that I am missing two roof tiles on my roof. Is this common practice? I was told they were going to use a quick mount system. After watching videos- all tiles were put back. Not sure is suppose to be done!

Probably not a common practice, but a broken tile or 2 is not uncommon and probably to be expected. The question is what did the installers do to maintain the integrity of the roof as a leak proof barrier ? Assuming the tiles left near the garage were unbroken, and if you had no spares laying around, seems worth a call to me.

Yes broken tiles are common and thorough installers will bring spares so maybe they are the extra spares.

Does the wiring pass through the roof into the attic? The soladeck product for a tile roof requires removing the tile that was there, and the flashed junction box takes its place.
