    About Blooking diode

    About Blooking diode
i know in EURO PV specification
the system always without Blooking diode
    because of loss
But,how can i consider the Blooking diode loss in PV system???
Everyone know Blooking diode has threshold Voltage 0.7 V
if the strig Vop is 450V
    the threahold loss is

    0.7 / 450 * %

how about the thermal resistance loss

and who can give me the PV specification for EURO & USA

    1) your math is wrong. try 450 - .7 Better still, amps x .7 = watts lost

    2) if you arrange all panels in sunlight, and use combiner strings w/fuses, you don't need blocking diodes. Blocking diodes are to prevent back-feeding dark panels with battery voltage. Charge controllers generally provide the blocking function.

    3) > Everyone know Blooking diode has threshold Voltage 0.7 V
Use a schottky diode, and only have .5V

      differnt countries different systems

      Hi,

as far as I came across pv-systems, there is two different priciples to do the set up of grid connected systems (I don't know about stand olone systems)

The European way - utilizing blocking diodes - and the US way - utilizing fuses. Both have their advantages and their disadvantages. Whatever one prefers actually does not matter as we have to respect the standard applicaple in the different countries and both of them prooved to work reliably.

I don't know hoch much deteils you expect as an answer.
