I am surprised you even found one. I didn't know anyone made a 120v grid tie UL listed inverter. The SMA looks pretty slick for someone that can get a legal grid tie system connected to their house and only needs about 700W DC.

I was afraid this was a rare/impossible find. I also believe this model was discontinued a while ago unfortunately.

I think the only thing currently available would be bimodal battery backup systems like the OutBack Flexpower 1 etc.

Yeah, the GVFX series from Outback are grid tied 120V inverters. Of course they need batteries, charge controller etc.

I know KACO do a 120v unit in OZ and teamed up with SP Pro for their off-grid and hybrid offerings.

I have an older PVP1800 that works. If your interested send me a PM.
1800W Starinverter by PV Powered. About 10 years old. The company replaced it under warranty, then I managed to easily repair it.
Is only 120Vac output so don't have much use for it myself, and around here the Utility requires new equipment for interconnections so used equipment isn't worth much.
