Using 2 EP-Solar MPPT Controllers with single array, single battery, and common load

    I have four (4) panels of 100Watts each @ 24VDC. Thus my Solar Array is of 400W @ 24VDC.
Have one single Battery @ 12VDC, of 300AH.
Have made a single DC load distribution box connector . The DC load ( @ 12VDC) to be connected is about 180 Watts.
    I have in hand two MPPT Charge Controllers of EP Solar, model # Tracer-2215RN . These are 12/24V, Maximum PV Input 260W ( @ 12V system ), and 520W ( @ 24V system ).

As my System ( means battery and load ) both are at 12VDC. Therefore at peak load of 180 Watts the Amps be around 15 A.

The specs of the ETracer MPPT state that as my system load is configured at 12V, therefore max PV power i can attach is 260W.

Now I have 2 solutions at hand :

One is to divide my panels in two groups, bring 2 separate wires down from panels to 2 independent ( and identical ) MPPT controllers, then attach both these controllers to a single battery. The Load I can connect to battery or to both the CC. Fig A

Other way is to keep 4 panels together, bring one cable down, connect both MPPT CC in parallel, then connect single battery to both, and the load again either to the battery or to both load terminals of the two CCs. Fig B

Please advise which one you think to be correct, and why ?

    Thanks in advance.

You have to make two solar panel systems. Each will have two panels and a controller. Then each controller connects to a common battery.
