Hello from Swansea

Hi,

I'm James from Swansea and I've had a hybrid solar install for about 6 months. I have 13 500w panels, a 6kw Duracell inverter and 2 Duracell 5k batteries.

I asked in the hybrid solar forum some queries with configuring my solar how I'd like in terms of grid charging and battery control.

Next on my plan is an EV charger, currently it takes all night to "granny charge" our plugin hybrid. Likely I will go with the Duracell option as it talks to their inverter so I believe I can then chose to divert my solar generation into the car rather than battery if needed.

Hi James, welcome! 500W panels sounds impressive to me, the average was 250 when I put my system in in 2014. Hopefully you can get some good info here.
