    Good Day All

I am a landlord in MD interested in putting solar panels on some of my rentals in Baltimore City. I was looking for clarification about the ITC Tax Credit in particular whether it is available for rental properties (I think it is) and whether it is restricted to properties owned by LLC's. I've read that it does on on forums like reddit but I do not see that anywhere in the wording of the legislation and I do not understand what the ownership structure of the property has to do with the entitlement to the credit. Rental property is clearly business usage and sole proprietorship is a recognized ownership structure and taxed the same way. I would be grateful for any insights into this perspective. I will of course follow up with a CPA but my experience so far is that not all are familiar with that part of the tax code.

    Hi wookies,

Our site sponsors might be able to help try googling something like solarreviews.com Baltimore solar rules and regulations, they did home some state based rules and regs on there a while ago, cheers
