Hi, I’m David from Victoria Australia. I have a DIY solar water pump for our bore. I don’t know what I’m doing and putting it together as I go. The pump works and I am now finessing the setup. 39c today!

Welcome!
That sounds a good introduction to solar! I did something like that here with a DYI solar rig from a local wholesale club. Got it set up and used it to power my home office (two PC's, a printer and a broadband modem). I even added a deep-cycle marine battery to the rig for overnight power.
Don't be shocked if you soon start yearning to power your entire home!

Ain't that the truth! I started off with electric cars and electric lawn care equipment, and as soon as I got a "forever home" I pulled the trigger on a Solar array. Before that I rigged up a DIY system to run essential loads (refrigerator, a few lights, some fans, modem and router) off of my wife's EV. I can't wait for bidirectional charging to become available in the US so I can use my wife's car as battery backup for the home (her car is in the garage 99% of the time, so perfect backup source). Currently I have a generator port installed at the main panel for outages since stand alone battery backup is expensive.Welcome!
