We just signed a solar contract and have a few questions. I trust my salesman, he’s the son of a co-worker and has done several friends houses.

Thanks guys, still learning a lot and glad I’ve found this forum.
This is what I know so far.
10.80 KW system, 27 Q cell 400 panels, IQ8plus-72-2-US inverters, with a supposed 15,464 kWh production. Sound accurate so far? It’s still in the planning phase. I’ve got a big south facing roof, but I live down a dirt road and am concerned with dust.
Thoughts please?

Depending on where you live in CA you may require approved drawings and contract with the POCO for a grid tied system.Comment

PVWatts Calculator (nrel.gov)
It's a very easy program to use. For your tilt and azimuth use the apps on your cell phone to determine them.

Ok, we’re out of town. I’ll look at it closer when we get home. I’m sure I’ll have more questions. Thanks for the help.
