I am on the South Coast of England and hoping to install solar at some point. Looking to learn what I can, to get a proper idea of what I might need in due course. I also have a small yacht (sailboat) with some small amount of solar, which I am working on. I expect to be a lurker for some while, but signed up as the forum looks like it's populated with sensible people.Thanks.

Suggest you might download a free and slightly dated but still useful PDF of a tome titled: "Solar Power Your Home for Dummies". Revised versions at bookstores or Amazon. Then, come back here and fill in knowledge gaps your self education creates. Most newbies show up here ill prepared, get pissed off and have their feelings hurt when their ignorance becomes obvious.
