    Solar noob from Washington

    Hey folks,
I've just ordered a little cargo trailer that I'll be building into a custom camper. I'll be adding solar, so I figured I'd join up here. I'm a battery nerd, but I've not yet got into solar. So y'all will probably get to see me learning things the hard way. Should be fun.

Learning the hard way, is the expensive way. Best way to counsel you, is what do you expect to need to use with electricity ? Will the camper be driven daily when the power is in use ?

Makes sense. That's how I plan my battery builds too. Though most batteries I build are much smaller than this one will be. I'll start a thread in the Camper section. But the only thing that will need power while I'm driving would be a small refrigerator. The trailer won't get here until at least October, so until then, there's not much to do except plan.
