    Powerhome Solar

Well I was just banned for mouthing off at a bratty admin on /r/Solar for asking if I could post a URL for a forum I created for Powerhome Solar customers because I didn't read the rules, even though the rules told me to PM/DM a mod.

I won't go into excruciating detail, but I created a forum for Powerhome Solar customers to come together to talk about the technology the company is selling and help each other etc.

As you might ascertain, I recently purchased a solar package from this company and have not been having a good go of it, so I am trying to create a community around the company who might be having similar issues as myself. Would a mod kindly advise if I am allowed to post a link to this might-be niche community?

    Thanks in advance,
    Josh

A simple link would be OK for your niche forum. Or you could create a thread here, and see if any one is interested.

If you want, you could create a forum for Powerhome Solar and I could post the URL there. If not, where should I post it?

Here's the URL to the forum, it's self hosted on my home network, but it's behind a dynamic DNS service, so the hostname will never change -- you just need to ignore and continue through the certificate security warning. If there's enough interest out there for it I might consider registering a certificate but I doubt it.

          1) convert the https to http over half the browsers will refuse to load it as is

          2) Not being able to view any of the posts, is not encouraging for new users to sign up.

            Okay, thanks for the tips.
HTTP should already be open so let me relink it.

start a facebook group, people are already on that platform so you will have easier time finding people.

You can simply ask people to unsubscribe in PM and provide people with a link there!!

Actually the PM has been shut down on this forum due to it being used inappropriately. So if you want people to go somewhere else you will have to tell them were to go.

Oh the last time I looked people can subscribe to multiple forums at the same time so why unsubscribe?
