    SE-3800H EV charger

Got my SE-3800H inverter with EV charger commissioned today. When I went to set up the Solaredge App to use with my EV charger it asks for your make and model of car. I am going to get a RAV4 Prime that is to be released this summer. Toyota is not a choice for make of car. I know my Rav4 Prime is not going to be released until this Summer but certainly the Prius, a Toyota product, has been around for years. Anybody else seen this Toyota exclusion?

Don't worry about it. Just put in any EV or plug in hybrid name that works. You can probably change change the name later. My charging stations ask for the name so they can track the kWhrs going into each car. When you get your car it will communicate with the charging handle and deliver the correct current. Maybe by the time you get the car SolarEdge will update their files.

I used to own a RAV4 EV which was a great car. Toyota has a good reputation as far as low service costs.
