Hello from the Rio Grande Valley of Texas

I am an old retired guy from Xerox Corporation living in South Texas who has always been interested in technology. I am not really an environmentalist but have always been interested in solar and wind power. I installed a solar charging system on my golf cart. Financially it doesn't make sense as I will never save as much money on my electric bill as the system cost but it's still fun. Glad I found this forum.

Welcome to the neighborhood. As you seem to already know, I'd only suggest separating the fun part from the cost effective part. They are often mutually exclusive.

Great, show us how it works. There is no iron clad rule saying PV solar must show a profit. A "science project"
is allowed, otherwise I would have been banned years ago. Bruce Roe
