Pawl in Redlands, CA...looking to install small solar system in 2015

Hi everyone. I just purchased my first electric vehicle (full electric), and am now interested in installing solar myself at my small home in Redlands, CA—perhaps some time this year, 2015. I would like to connect with others who have installed solar themselves in the region (Inland Empire, Redlands, etc) to gather wisdom and sound advice. Particularly interested in a pedestal mount system, since the best sunny spot on my property is at the back fence, not on the rooftop.
