I am interested in a portable system to power my laptop in the mountains where my horses and i do search and rescue work. While waiting for the lost and injured i am writing a book. Although I run biodesil I would rather charge my 17 inch laptop by solar than fire up the truck. Than there is an idea of charging 12 v truck batteries. I have a 750 watt inverter. Any suggestions on systems? I am quit savy with do it yourself and a non-profit org so a solar panel build it myself would be a great learning way to go.
