FWIW, as those informed about alternate energy and particularly solar energy know, while some of those simplistic beliefs are downright stupid, some of them, maybe most, have a large kernel of truth to them.
Most are not completely untrue or are more true than not without some, or a lot of, clarifying additional information and explanation.
