I noticed the change of my handle now being in red.

Does that mean I have to pay more for the privilege of being singled out?

I am assuming greg messing around has caused that, we will see about changing it back, or perhaps those things are now comming from the new version, have you beed able to log into Solar Panel Talk v2 yet? I think my instructions might have been a bit wrong? The new version of the forum allows us to do more so I think we will need to all have a look at it then decide which bits we want or dont want, cheers

You have to pay more to get an unlisted mod status.

Just been playing around with the new version on the new server, its different, maybe cause its kinda looking very different no logo, etc, but anyway mods be prepared to go for a look I think Greg is going to email you guys so you can log in and have a look, and or test a bit, cheers

THANKS! I can edit again with just a space, or an actual reason - followed by enter in the reason box and not hitting save.

Note that you can only do an edit once, because if you try to edit yet again after a successful save, you get a blank message box. HOWEVER, if you leave the subcategory and back out, and then return to the subcategory and the message you had previously edited, you can do so again. At no time am I hitting the save button, or need to refresh.

Ah, what a different world when I was running a multi-line dialup Fidonet bbs node back in the early 90's - slaving over ms-dos batch files to make all the disparate parts work properly together all the while trying to keep the users happy when things went bork.

Did you try switching back and forth between WYSIWYG and source formatting to see if one is better than the other?

This computer (which allows full editing functions) is set for WYSIWYG.

I will check on my other computer to see what it is set for and try switching it to see if that changes anything. Thanks

Same for my on my home computer. When I post I have NO spacing. It is all run together sentences so I have to use ------------- in between to provide some space. PIA

FWIW, if I edit and then use "preview post" before submitting it seems to work, but the rest of the punctuation is still unavailable to me.

I am currently working on actually fixing this issue so I hope this works for everyone to ease with the frustration.

Never had trouble with the mobile version which is what I use 99 44/100 % of the time.

Looks like Gregs work around is working, we have almost conceded defeat, and have started searching for vBulletin experts to help us.
