Bought 5 of these form a set of 10 used as grid tie setup, I need to know the best way to use them for 12 or 48v off grid, not grid tie system. I know grid tie panels are 60 cell and usually off the grid 12,24 volt panels are 36 or 72 cell.

Doubt you can use all 5 without going to a VERY expensive MPPT controller. 4 would be easy, (2x2, or 4 series) if you can get one more, 6 would work too, (3x2)

        Hi there, I have a YL230P-29B 230W
This was given to me by a friend and I'm looking for a Charge controller to use to charge golf cart batteries and / or my deep cycle marine batteries.

I'm planning to use the batteries to power LED lights in my back yard.

My questions is what Charge Controller would be sufficient enough for 1 panel.

        TY in advance.
