Shurflo 9300 series is a decent pump. I run one on my well.
Here's the company I ordered my kit from and a link to a setup that might work for you. It includes pump, panel, and linear current booster.

You will need some sort of controller to prevent the pump from dry running.
First, locate a pump, and then the pump specs and your head / volume info charts will indicate how much power you will need. Assume you will only get 70% of nameplate off the solar panels, so if your needs are 400W, you need to install at least 500W of panels, or maybe more,
These are top of the line, but pricey. But if you like repairing things many times, choose a lesser pump

DC well pump suggestion and info
I need a suggestion for a DC well pump and associated panel and controller (if needed). The TDH is 13mtrs. and need to pump 1-2 gal/min. This is for a rural well in Nicaragua and is an Engineers Without Borders project so looking for an inexpensive alternative. Aside from the pump suggestion what size panel do I need and do I need a pump controller?
