    is this enough for spain

    Hi everyone,
Thanks for letting me join the forum.

I live in sunny spain, and I have bought a pre-used system to run our small 52sqm home consistin of...

    4x silken slkl60p6l 215w panels..
    pmpp 215wp
    vmpp29.0v
    Impp 7.41a
    noct 46+-2°c
    voc 36.6vdc
    Isc 8.02a
    ff 73.25%

    2x atersa a-160p 24
    Pmp 160w
    vmp 36.00v
    Imp 4.45a
    voc 44.20v
    isc 4.75a
    vmax 700v

sun yoba solar 80 pwm charge controller given free

power jack lfpsw 5000 80a inverter

    6x yuasa 12v 95ah batteries

I have looked and can not seem to find out if the silken panels are 12v or 24v!!
so at the moment only have the two 24v panels wired in and it seems to charge the batteries by lunchtime. We are only running some 3w led lights in the lounge and bedroom a couple of ceiling fans the washing machine durkng the day so not alot at the moment,, if i turn the fridge on the lot goes off but if i leave fridge on and reset inverter it seems to work so dont know whats goimg on there!! So was wondering if i need more batteries and would all the panels hooked up be too much for batteries...its a small house with not alot of electrical stuff..

any advice om this would be greatly received

    Regards
    Dave

The 215W panels are grid tie panels. They are neither 12v or 24v nominal. They should not be used in parallel with the 160 watt panels as they will just pull them down. They do not have high enough voltage to charge a 24v battery. That would require a VMP of about 35 to 36v. Which the 160W panel can supply when not paralleled with the others.

Would there be a problem if i wired the 215w panels in series? Then added them to the system

        regards
